Cowslip orchid
Caladenia flava

The most abundant of our spider orchids, the cowslip is often seen flowering in clumps of hundreds, even thousands. Each clumps contains clones and on close inspection the flowers can be seen to exhibit the same characteristics.
FLOWERS: July to December, but September in the Margaret River area.
DISTRIBUTION: Widespread in the south-west.
