Summer wildfires result in these stunning orchids flowering in profusion. One of the better known and more obvious WA orchids, the Donkeys reproduce rapidly through underground tubers and thus can be found in big clumps in the forest.
FLOWERS: September to October.
DISTRIBUTION: Widespread in the south-west and found in a variety of soil types, from deep sands in banksia forests to the heavier jarrah forest soils.
