Purple enamel orchid
Elythranthera brunosis

Purple and pink enamel orchids grow only in the south-west. They have petals that appear to be enamelled or highly polished. The stems grow to about 30cm tall and the flowers are about 3cm across. They have a single hairy leaf.
FLOWERS: August to November.
DISTRIBUTION: Widespread in the south-west, especially after a summer fire.
