Templetonia retusa

One of the first species of plant to be shown to be pollinated by birds. It attracts birds with its flashy blooms and flowers in cool weather when insect activity is slowed.
FLOWERS: May to December.
DISTRIBUTION: Widespread in the south-west and well inland.
